The iDip® photometer is the first patented handheld photometer to offer two-way communication with a Bluetooth®-compatible Apple or Android smartphone / tablet.
The eXact iDip® photometer is waterproof (IP67) and has a built-in sample cell. This design simplifies the testing procedure and improves accuracy.
The eXact iDip® mobile app lets you customize tests and instantly record results, which you can then export as a table.
How does the IDIP photometer work to test your water?
The steps for using the photometer are extremely simple:
1. Open the app on your mobile phone
2. Add water to the tester's sample cell
3. Place the test strip (and reagent if needed) in the water for 20 seconds
4. View the result directly on the photometer. The result is automatically saved to your phone.
