Veterinary Laboratory Water Analysis
Lab Testing
Guide to choosing a water analysis from our partner laboratory
The water analysis performed by our partner laboratory is designed to be comprehensive, simple, and accurate.
The base package covers logistics costs (shipping the sampling kit to you and back) and the processing costs for a water analysis. Predefined packages and optional individual tests are added to this. Please see the details below.
Water analysis packages
The first package consists of a complete bacteriological analysis.
Our partner laboratory then tests for the presence of
-
Total viable bacteria 22°C/37°C
-
Total coliforms 37°C / thermotolerant coliforms 44°C
-
Total E.coli 37°C
-
Fecal Enterococci (44°C)
- Sulfite-Reducing Anaerobic Bacteria (37°C)
You can add a physicochemical analysis of your water to this package.
- Chemistry package 1 : pH, Nitrates, Nitrites, Chlorine
- Chemistry package 2 : pH, Nitrates, Nitrites, Chlorine, Hardness, Iron
- Chemistry package 3 : pH, Nitrates, Nitrites, Chlorine, Hardness, Iron, Manganese
- Chemistry package 4 : pH, Nitrates, Nitrites, Chlorine, Hardness, Iron, Manganese, Organic matter
Additional analysis options:
Although the packages are designed to be affordable and meet routine water analysis needs, you may simply need one or more specific tests. We therefore invite you to order this analysis and add one or more of the laboratory tests of your choice. You cannot order any of the tests below without ordering the base analysis with one of the packages above.(either a bacteriological analysis or a physicochemical analysis)

How does my water test work?

After you place your order on our website,
1. Within 48h/72h, you receive a sampling kit containing 2 bottles to fill, an instruction sheet, a freezable ice pack, 1 insulated pouch, and a Chronopost return label.
2.48h before collecting your samples, place the ice pack in the freezer.
3. Collect your water samples following the laboratory's recommendations. Then place the bottles and the frozen ice pack in the insulated pouch and close it.
4. Place this insulated pouch in the Chronopost shipping pouch and attach the Chronopost return label to it.
5. Take the package to your nearest Chronopost drop-off point.
Important : to ensure the most accurate analysis results possible, the analysis must be performed as soon as possible. The provided Chronopost label allows delivery to the laboratory the day after drop-off, before 1 p.m. Ideally, collect your samples in the afternoon and drop off the package at a Chronopost location in the late afternoon. Also, make sure you do not drop it off on a Friday or the day before a public holiday. This would delay delivery of the package to the laboratory and therefore the analysis.
5. After receiving your samples, the RESALAB laboratory performs the water analysis the same day.
6. We send you the analysis results as soon as possible and recommend solutions suited to your water needs.
Who performs my water analysis?
Our company OJA SOLUTIONS has a partnership with the RESALAB BRETAGNE laboratory. This partnership allows us to offer our customers professional water analysis performed by an independent laboratory.
The RESALAB BRETAGNE laboratory performs the water analysis using your samples.

RESALAB is a testing laboratory within GROUPE CRISTAL, which generated more than 24 million in revenue in France in 2017 and employs 167 people. The group stands out for its expertise in comprehensive health safety.
The RESALAB BRETAGNE testing laboratory holds accreditation No. 1-2379 (LAB GTA 27 and LAB GTA 36) issued by COFRAC.
What is the best way to collect my water samples?
Once you receive the sampling kit, please follow these steps carefully
1. Clear the sampling point of all possible sources of accidental contamination.
2. Disinfect the sampling point (with alcohol, a flame, or a disinfecting wipe).
3. Let the water run for at least 1 minute
4. Collect your samples without stopping the flow of water if there are several bottles
5. Fill out the sample information form as accurately as possible
6.We recommend collecting your samples in the afternoon and going directly to La Poste to ship them to the laboratory.
