What Is a Reverse Osmosis System?
Whether you live in the city or the country, it is important to have access to quality water. There are many reasons for this, but the most important relates to health. Filtered water also protects your household appliances and extends their lifespan. There are certainly many water filtration solutions, but one of them is particularly popular. It is reverse osmosis (RO), a technique known for filtering out impurities in water and making it more suitable for drinking.
So what is this device, and what should you know about it before buying one ?
Discover the RO system

Simply put, a reverse osmosis system is a device that can filter water. It consists of several parts that play a role in this process. The water to be treated first passes through several pre-filters that remove the largest particles (dust, sand...) as well as all the chlorine. The water then passes through a reverse osmosis membrane with pores measuring 0.0001 micrometer, the size of a water molecule. Only the smallest minerals (calcium, magnesium) pass through this membrane. This allows the RO system to remove heavy metals, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, fluorine, chlorine, and many other impurities. In summary, an RO system is a device that gives you as much pure water as you want, whenever you need it.
Installation and maintenance
If you decide to install an RO system yourself, you should know that we have made the task as simple as possible for you. An installation video is available in the description of each of our devices, and most of our customers install their RO systems themselves without difficulty. If you do not feel able to install your RO system yourself, you can call a plumber who will install it for you without any trouble.
Maintaining an RO system is a breeze. Simply shut off your water supply and unscrew the filter housings using the wrench. Then replace the filters with new ones, reassemble the housings, and you are done!
