    Installation & Maintenance

    Installation and maintenance

    Simple installation and easy maintenance

    Installation

The Olympos RO system is designed for simple, secure under-sink installation. It connects directly to your drinking water supply through a T-fitting with a ball valve included in the kit.

The system must be installed on a level surface, in a dry location protected from heat, excessive moisture, and freezing temperatures. The recommended temperature range is 5 °C to 38 °C. Also avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

An electrical power supply is required to operate the booster pump and smart automatic flushing system. Use only the power adapter supplied with the unit.

Good to know: after initial installation or after replacing a filter, we recommend letting the water run for 15 minutes to thoroughly flush the system before drinking the water.

Need help with the connections? See our home RO system installation guide .

    Maintenance

The Olympos features a smart control panel that tracks filter life. When the corresponding indicator flashes red and the unit beeps, the consumable in question must be replaced.

The actual lifespan of consumables may vary depending on feed water quality, water consumption, and operating conditions.

    Filter replacement

Replacing consumables is simple: unlock the cover, twist the used filter cartridge to remove it, then insert the new one. After replacing it, hold the reset button for 3 seconds to reset the corresponding indicator.

    Automatic flushing

The Olympos automatically flushes after every 5 uses to help maintain membrane performance and longevity.

You can also start a 30-second manual flush using the dedicated button.

If you will be away for an extended period: if the Olympos will not be used for more than 3 days, turn off the water supply and electrical power. When restarting the system, flush it for about 15 minutes before drinking the water.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the Olympos

What is the main advantage of a 2,000 GPD RO system?

Its main advantage is its very high flow rate. With a capacity of up to 2,000 GPD and a nominal flow rate of 5.2 L/min, the Olympos quickly provides you with a large amount of RO water, without a storage tank.

    Is installation complicated?

No. The Olympos is designed for under-sink installation. Its plug & play system makes it easy to connect the water supply, RO water line, and wastewater drain. An electrical power supply is also required for operation.

What maintenance should I plan for?

Replacement frequency depends on feed water quality, water consumption, and operating conditions. The PCB pre-filter is generally replaced every 6 to 12 months, while the reverse osmosis membrane has an average lifespan of about 24 to 36 months.

Can I connect the Olympos to a faucet with a TDS display?

Yes. A faucet with a TDS display is available as an option. It lets you view the quality of the dispensed water in real time.

Is the Olympos suitable for professional use?

Thanks to its high flow rate, the Olympos may be suitable for certain small business settings with substantial RO water needs. However, it is not intended to replace an industrial system designed for intensive, continuous operation.

How does it differ from a conventional home RO system?

The Olympos stands out primarily for its very high production capacity. With a capacity of up to 2,000 GPD and a nominal flow rate of 5.2 L/min, it produces RO water directly without the need for a storage tank.

What should I do if my RO system has an unusual odor?

An unusual odor may indicate that the system needs maintenance or cleaning. Check the condition and replacement dates of your consumables. You can also consult our guide to cleaning an RO system .

Does the Olympos work without electricity?

No. The Olympos requires a 220–240 V / 50 Hz electrical power supply. This powers the pump and smart flushing system, among other functions.

    Reverse Osmosis

    Benefits of reverse osmosis

    High-precision filtration for everyday water

A reverse osmosis system uses the principle of reverse osmosis to reduce many dissolved substances and impurities present in water. This technology produces highly purified water, available directly at the faucet or water dispenser.

    Why choose reverse osmosis?

    The main benefits

    • High-precision filtration: reverse osmosis reduces a wide range of substances present in water.
    • Micropollutant reduction: the membrane acts as an especially fine barrier against many dissolved contaminants.
    • Better taste and odor: filtration helps reduce chlorine in particular, along with compounds that can affect the organoleptic qualities of water.
    • Fewer bottles: having filtered water at home or at work reduces the buying, storing and carrying of bottles.
    • Reduced mineral content: reverse osmosis greatly reduces dissolved mineral salts, including those responsible for limescale buildup.
    • Less plastic waste: a great way to cut down on single-use bottles.

    What can reverse osmosis reduce?

    Examples of substances and impurities

Depending on the membrane used, the quality of the feed water and the operating conditions, reverse osmosis can help reduce many substances present in water.

Heavy metals Lead Mercury Nitrates Pesticides Dissolved salts Chlorine Fluorides Pharmaceutical residues Micropollutants PFAS
