400GPD Membrane for Professional RO Systems
Membranes
The role of the RO membrane
The RO membrane is made of TFC (Thin-Film Composite) polyamide and provides the most advanced stage of water filtration. It removes heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses. The pores in an RO membrane are so small that only water molecules (H2O) can pass through. The 3 pre-filters are there solely to make the membrane's job easier by trapping larger particles and harmful chlorine. This helps extend its service life.

Capacity
The 400GPD membrane is designed for use with one of our professional systems and can produce 1,500 liters of RO water per day. With two membranes in parallel on our 800 GPD RO systems, you produce 3,000 liters of water per day.
Maintenance
An RO membrane should be replaced every two years on average. Otherwise, you will notice a decrease in flow rate, indicating that the membrane is clogged. Replacement takes just one minute, timed by the clock.
Maximize your savings by purchasing maintenance kits for 1, 2, or 3 years.
Dimensions
Our 400 GPD TFC-3013 membrane measures 328 mm in length and 76 mm in diameter.
