Humans and Water: A Complete Article on the Role of Water in Human Life
A few numbers ?
Water is made up of three atoms, one oxygen atom and two oxygen atoms.
Electrolysis of water makes it easy for us to verify this information. At the positive anode, we find oxygen gas (O2), and at the negative cathode, we find hydrogen gas (2H2).
Humans are water-based beings whose water content, depending on age, ranges from 50-60 % (an elderly person) to 97 % (a 2-month-old embryo). The body of a 70 kg man is estimated to contain 45 L of water, including 30 L inside his cells and 15 L outside them. These 15 L are divided into 5 L of blood in the vessels, veins, and capillaries and 10 L of interstitial fluid, such as lymph or the water surrounding our cells.
Obesity can reduce the proportion of water in a person's body to as little as 45 %, which poses a life-threatening risk.
A human being is a true column of water. After water, we are made up of salt ions, lipids, proteins, and amino acids that chelate ions to improve their absorption. We are constantly, day and night and 365 days a year, being traversed by ions and water.
Do you now understand why the quality of the water we take in is so critically important ?
Why drink water ?
“ 100 trillion cells in our bodies cry out in thirst and demand water. ”
Water performs the following functions, among others :
- Maintaining blood and lymph volume,
- Producing saliva and tears
- Lubricating joints, eyes, etc.,
- Regulating body temperature,
- Chemical reactions in cells,
- Absorbing and transporting nutrients,
- Neurological activity in the brain,
- Acid-base and oxidation-reduction balance,
- Hydrating the skin,
- Cellular toxin removal and detoxification,
- Eliminating waste from metabolic processes,
- Maintaining the colloidal state of our body's fluids, particularly blood and lymph,
- Detoxifying poisons generated by our metabolism, such as dead cells,
- Transporting minerals, trace elements, vitamins, etc. to our cells,
- Assimilating vital information from our food.
When should you drink water ?
Ideally, water should be drunk at room or body temperature ; never cold. As soon as you feel thirsty, it is already too late, because this indicates that you have a deficit of several hundred grams of water. You should therefore drink before you feel thirsty. Ideally, you should drink a glass of water at 30-35 °C in the morning on an empty stomach, which prevents your body from losing calories to warm it up. Then, you should drink between meals. Do not drink, or drink very little, during meals, because water dilutes gastric juices and prevents proper digestion.
How much water should you drink per day ?
Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj, who cured thousands of people by having them drink only water, confirms that you should drink at least 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day ; more precisely, 30 ml/kg, meaning 1.5 liters for a person weighing 50 kg and 2.5 liters for a person weighing 75 kg.
Be aware that coffee and tea, contrary to popular belief, are not considered hydrating beverages. On the contrary, these beverages promote fluid loss and are therefore dehydrating.
Water from solid foods (fruits, vegetables, plants) is packed with nutrients, trace elements, minerals, vitamins… It is the only water found in an activated, energizing form that is fully bioavailable ! This is why the water with very low mineral content produced by a reverse osmosis system is the best water you can drink.
Signs of dehydration
By the time we feel thirsty, it is already too late. Specifically, this manifests as :
- Dark urine,
- Dry mouth and throat,
- Dry skin,
- Headaches and dizziness,
- Heat intolerance,
- Lack of energy.
At a more advanced stage, symptoms include :
- Muscle weakness and cramps,
- Difficulty swallowing,
- Painful urination,
- Confusion.
Stay alert, you need to drink BEFORE you feel thirsty !
Quality requirements for good drinking water
All water loses its original natural hydrodynamic, energy, and information qualities if :
- It is not “ mature ” (emerging naturally from the ground) ;
- It is obtained by suction (pumping municipal water) ;
- It is pressurized ;
- It comes into contact with metal (loss of electrons) ;
- It is polluted (chemically or electromagnetically) ;
- It is transported in straight lines (pipes).
Taken together, these factors mean that neither tap water nor bottled water is quality drinking water. Every day, we drink water with no energy, no structure, no dynamic properties, and no vitality.
All of these waters lack the basic principles of natural, freely flowing water. Be aware of this !
Waters that meet the essential hydrodynamic criteria include all moving waters, such as those of a mountain stream, a waterfall, a cascade, or mineral water directly at its source, as well as all waters subjected to vortices and whirlpools, those energized by biological waves or other physical processes.
