Installation
Download the quick installation guide
The dispenser was designed for quick and easy installation directly on a countertop. It can be installed by a professional or someone with a solid grounding in plumbing. However, to ensure optimal and safe operation, installation by a qualified installer is recommended — especially for the sparkling version.
Required connections :
-
Cold water supply via a standard 3/8" inlet
-
220-240V / 50-60Hz electrical outlet
-
Food-grade CO₂ cylinder (for the sparkling version) via 1/4" tubing
-
Overflow to be connected to the drain system (3/8")
Important tips :
-
Place the unit on a stable, level surface
-
Leave ventilation space around the unit (especially at the rear)
-
Do not tilt the dispenser or lay it on its side during installation
-
Let it stand for 12 to 24h before turning it on to allow the compressor to stabilize
In summary : installation is straightforward, but professional installation is preferable for the CO₂ version or if the unit is used continuously in a professional setting.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the quality of the water dispensed, maintain cooling performance, and ensure the service life of the dispenser.
Routine maintenance (weekly to monthly)
-
Cleaning the dispensing spout : Wipe regularly with a clean cloth and food-safe disinfectant to prevent any buildup of residue or bacteria.
-
Drip tray : Empty and clean it frequently to prevent overflow and unpleasant odors.
-
Exterior surfaces : Clean with a soft cloth and a nonabrasive product. Avoid products containing ammonia or solvents.
Technical maintenance (quarterly to annually)
-
Flushing the system : If the unit has not been used for several days, flushing the internal water lines is recommended to ensure fresh water.
-
Checking the fittings : Visually inspect the water and CO₂ fittings to ensure there are no leaks.
-
Filtration (if a filter is built in) : Depending on local water quality, a sediment or activated carbon filter may be fitted. In that case, it is recommended to replace it every 6 to 12 months, depending on how often you use the dispenser.
Maintenance of the sparkling version
-
Checking the CO₂ regulator : Check that the pressure is properly set and the regulator is working correctly.
-
Replacing the gas cylinder : Replace the cylinder as soon as carbonation becomes weaker. Always use food-grade CO₂ that is certified.
-
Gas line hygiene : Specialized cleaning of the gas line may be necessary each year if the dispenser is used intensively.
Important recommendation :
For professional establishments or intensive use, it is strongly recommended to schedule annual maintenance with a specialized technician, particularly for :
-
internal disinfection
-
checking refrigeration components
-
checking overall operation
Regular maintenance is key to ensuring healthy water, optimal taste, and preserving the technical performance of the dispenser over the long term.
