Automatic Industrial Remineralization System

Calcite remineralizer for industrial RO systems
Designed for higher-flow water treatment installations, this remineralizer helps correct the acidity of water with low mineral content, particularly after reverse osmosis, by bringing the water into contact with a bed of calcite.
As water comes into contact with the calcite, it gradually dissolves and releases calcium, helping increase the pH, mineral content and conductivity of the treated water. Results depend in particular on the initial pH, flow rate and contact time.
The principle is similar to that of our AquaCalcium filter cartridge for home RO systems, but adapted here for industrial installations.
A design suited to professional installations
Each tank features a fiberglass-reinforced polyester outer shell and a food-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) inner liner. A suitable valve is included, with 3/4" (20/27) inlet and outlet connections.
Basic or automatic remineralizer: what's the difference?
Agitating or loosening the calcite bed requires manual intervention, following the procedures specified for the installation.
The agitation or bed-loosening cycle is controlled automatically by the valve, reducing the need for user intervention.
Good to know: on a calcite remineralizer, this cycle does not replace replenishing the media. Its main purpose is to limit compaction and channeling, helping water flow more evenly through the bed. As the calcite is gradually consumed, its level must be checked and topped up as needed.
Technical specifications
| Model number | Valve | Tank | Max. flow rate | Calcite |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CA67025 | TM67 | 10 × 35 | 0.52 m³/h | 25 kg |
| CA67050 | TM67 | 12 × 48 | 0.74 m³/h | 50 kg |
| CA67075 | TM67 | 13 × 54 | 0.88 m³/h | 75 kg |
| CA67100 | TM67 | 14 × 65 | 1.05 m³/h | 100 kg |
| CA67125 | TM67 | 16 × 65 | 1.33 m³/h | 125 kg |
| CA67175 | TM67 | 18 × 65 | 1.89 m³/h | 175 kg |
The flow rates shown are the maximum values specified for each unit. Sizing must take into account the characteristics of the water to be treated and the remineralization target.

How can you adjust pH and mineral content?
The level of remineralization achieved varies depending on several parameters: incoming water composition, initial pH, flow rate, pressure and contact time with the calcite . At a lower flow rate, contact time is generally longer, which can help the media dissolve.
To fine-tune the characteristics of the outlet water, a blending bypass can be included to combine a proportion of remineralized water with another water source suited to the intended use. The setting must be validated by measuring pH and mineral content.
The capacity you need depends on the flow rate to be treated, the incoming water quality and the desired outlet water parameters. Contact our team to discuss sizing your installation.
