Ultrafiltration System 1,000 to 10,000 l/h
Ultrafiltration
Introduction to Ultrafiltration
What is ultrafiltration?
This filtration technique was developed in the 1970s by the dairy industry to remove bacteria and viruses using a membrane with a maximum pore diameter of 0.01 micron, which is 10,000 times finer than a human hair.
Ultrafiltration also removes phagocytes, colloids, and macromolecules to a certain extent.
Caution: the filter's theoretical flow rate is based on an inlet pressure of 3 bars. If your pressure is lower, the flow rate will be lower.
Ultrafiltration system components
High-flow filtration with no wastewater
The solution we offer here consists of a single filter housed in a stainless steel tube.

Our ultrafiltration membranes effectively remove pathogens: - Bacteria: 99.9999% - Viruses: 99.99% This produces clean water free of hygiene concerns for personal washing. |

Higher pressure can have 2 consequences:
- premature deterioration of the ultrafiltration membrane, leading to a reduced flow rate over time
- rupture of the plastic caps. If there is a risk of water hammer, replace these caps with a standard metal model.
Maintaining your ultrafiltration system
Every 12 to 24 months, replace the filter, which you can find here.
The replacement interval varies considerably because it depends directly on several factors:
- purity of the incoming water
- volume used over a year
- membrane cleaning, meaning whether you also use your system's second outlet for less filtered water, which flushes the ultrafiltration membrane.
Available options
Additional replacement filter: 50% off when ordered with the system.

Warranty
The warranty lasts 2 years and covers your entire system under normal use.
The water inlet pressure must not exceed 4 bars.
Installing your ultrafiltration system

The pre-filter and faucet shown in this image are not included. - Pre-filter: you can choose our cleanable water softener filter or a larger filter for a higher flow rate. - Faucet: we offer several models of faucets here.
You have several options for installing this device. First, you can treat all your water by blocking the outlet opposite the inlet. This way, you will have no water loss or drain water, but the filters will clog relatively quickly.
The most economical approach in our view is to connect your toilets to the opposite outlet. This way, every time you flush the toilet, you flush your system, significantly extending the life of the filters |

Assembly note:
The inlet and outlets have female threads, so you will need a nipple fitting or a hose with a male fitting. If you do not connect the drain outlet, simply leave the cap in place
Why install an ultrafiltration system in your home?
Ultrafiltration makes water that is already clear, but may contain unwanted particles (such as well water or even your rainwater), suitable for drinking without producing wastewater. This technology is not suitable for seawater or heavily polluted water.
For better-quality drinking water, we strongly recommend adding a home RO system downstream of this system.
