How it works

Water (H2O) is transformed by a membrane that adds “active” hydrogen molecules, generating electrical energy called oxidation-reduction potential (ORP). This produces a molecule called a “hydranion,” with the chemical formula H3O-.

In practical terms, these are additional electrons available to neutralize free radicals in our bodies, which are missing an electron. In thermodynamic terms, the deactivation of free radicals by hydranions is explained by the energetic tendency of an unstable element to regain its balance. This is the secret of hydrogen water!

Adding “inactive” hydrogen to water (as most Chinese products sold on the market do) simply produces bubbles, with no additional electrons and therefore no effect on free radicals.

WARNING: this process has nothing to do with so-called “ionized” or “Kangen” water!

These methods also aim to make water alkaline (pH > 7) on the premise that our bodies are too acidic, which goes against the principles of BEV (Vincent's Bioelectronics). Beware of unscrupulous resellers, and always remember the 4 main BEV criteria:

- Slightly acidic : pH between 5.5 and 6.8

- As low in minerals as possible : TDS between 10 and 50 ppm or mg/l

- Antioxidant : electronic potential (rH2) between 25 and 28

- Resistivity (rho) greater than 6,000 ohms

By failing to meet 3 of these 4 criteria (high mineral content, pH>8, and low resistivity), ionized or “Kangen” water disqualifies itself from claiming the title of “healthy water.”

Healthy organic foods are generally acidic and reducing (rH2 below 28): further proof of the foolishness of aiming for alkalinity to combat our "acidosis"!
