With its intuitive touch controls, the Columbia Soda Upper instantly dispenses chilled water (between 3 and 10°C), room-temperature water or sparkling water. Its efficient cooling system produces up to 8 L/h of cold water and 10 L/h of sparkling water, making it perfectly suited to the daily needs of a household or small business.

Compact design and professional performance

With its compact dimensions (420 x 450 x 170 mm), this dispenser fits easily on a countertop while providing 30 cm of clearance under the dispensing spout. You can fill both your glasses and your carafes.

It runs on a 220-240V / 50Hz power supply, with a powerful cooling system (130W) using R134a gas. Its 2.4 L tank ensures a constant supply of chilled water.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation

Here are our tips on where to place your water dispenser: 

• Place the unit on a stable surface capable of supporting its weight (up to 15 kg when the unit is operating, depending on the model).
• Position the unit with enough space around it (min. 5 cm).
• Position the unit with enough ventilation at the back (min. 10 cm).
• Do not place the unit in a confined space that prevents adequate ventilation (in a cabinet or pantry, for example).
• Place the unit near a power outlet and the water supply.

Maintenance

The dispenser requires no special maintenance. Clean it like any other small household appliance. Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning.

You will need to replace the gas cylinders when they are empty if you want to keep enjoying sparkling water.

How does the Columbia Soda Upper work?

The Columbia Soda Upper is a water dispenser connected to your water supply. It filters, chills and carbonates water in real time using an efficient cooling system and a food-grade CO₂ cartridge. In just seconds, you get chilled, room-temperature or sparkling water.

Do I need a gas cylinder for sparkling water?

Yes. To produce sparkling water, the Columbia Soda Upper must be connected to a standard food-grade CO₂ cylinder (with a 5/16’’ or 8 mm fitting). This is the same gas used in consumer soda makers, but with a larger capacity. 

Is professional installation required?

Installation is simple: it requires a connection to the water supply (1/4’’), a standard power supply and a connection to a CO₂ cylinder. An experienced DIYer or plumber can set it up quickly. A technical manual is included.

Does the Columbia Soda Upper filter water?

No. The dispenser does not filter water.

Can I fill bottles or carafes?

Yes. The dispensing spout is high enough to accommodate glasses, reusable bottles or carafes up to 30 cm tall. Ideal for storing your chilled or sparkling water in the refrigerator.

Is it suitable for professional use?
