▶ Benefits of RO Water
Benefits of RO Water
A reverse osmosis system is a highly effective water filtration system that uses reverse osmosis technology to remove a wide range of impurities from drinking water. This process ensures that the water you drink is both pure and healthy. Here are the main benefits of a home RO system:
- Pure, healthier water = removes chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, pharmaceutical residues, etc.
- Protection from contaminants = filters out micropollutants
- Improved water taste and odor = removes impurities responsible for taste/odor.
- Convenience and savings = fewer bottled water purchases
- Protection for household appliances = reduces limescale buildup
- Environmental responsibility = less plastic production
Here is a partial list of impurities filtered out of RO water:
- Mercury = damages our central nervous system
- Chromium = can cause stomach ulcers and lung cancer
- Lead = can cause lead poisoning
- Nitrates = can cause anoxia (preventing oxygen from reaching cells)
- Pesticides = can cause neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and fertility problems
- Zinc = causes stomach cramps, skin irritation, vomiting, nausea, and anemia at high doses
- Aluminum = can cause Alzheimer's disease, among other conditions, over the long term
- Fluoride = potent neurotoxin
- Chlorine = affects the respiratory system and causes fluid retention in the lungs
- Radon, uranium, polonium = radioactive gases that cause genetic mutations
- Pharmaceutical residues = 70% of active molecules end up in our urine and pass through public filtration systems
- Other impurities = limescale, herbicides, salts, drugs, bacteria, and viruses
- PFAS = "forever chemicals"

▶ Installation & Maintenance
Installation & Maintenance
Installation
The Bluetech water dispenser was designed for quick, hassle-free installation in any professional or home setting. Simply place it on a flat, stable surface, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Connect it to a safe, standard grounded electrical outlet and a drinking water supply with a pressure between 1 and 4 bar.
To ensure proper operation and prevent overheating, leave a minimum clearance of 10 cm around the unit to provide optimal ventilation.
Good to know : if the unit was transported horizontally, we recommend letting it stand upright for 12 hours before starting it.
With its quick-connect fittings, installing the water circuit is simple and secure. An ideal solution for your offices, reception areas, or community facilities.
Maintenance
To keep your water pure and great-tasting, the Bluetech is equipped with a high-performance filtration system, including a PAC pre-filter and a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane.
An indicator light tells you when it is time to replace the filters:
-
PAC pre-filter : replace every 6 to 12 months (or 3,600 L)
-
RO membrane : replace every 12 to 24 months (or 7,200 L)
For extended periods of inactivity, the unit has a built-in drain function, allowing you to easily drain the water remaining in the circuits.
Important : maintenance must be performed by a qualified technician using original filters to preserve performance, water quality, and the manufacturer's warranty.
The Bluetech combines easy maintenance with lasting performance for worry-free everyday use.
