Installation & Maintenance

Easy installation

The Blue Ocean installs quickly near an electrical outlet and a drinking water supply. Its “plug & play” system includes all the necessary fittings.

• Recommended location: a temperature-controlled room (4 to 45 °C)
• Electrical connection required for the pump and cooler
• No electrical connection needed if there is no built-in pump
• Connection to a drinking water supply with pressure ≥ 3 bar (pump included)

Before first use, perform 2 complete fill/drain cycles.

Simplified maintenance

• Filter replacement is recommended every 6 to 12 months (pre-filters + post-filter), except for the membrane, which should be replaced every 2 to 3 years.
• Clean the cold water tank 1 to 2 times per year
• Regularly check for leaks and inspect the condition of the fittings
• Flushing is recommended after an extended period without use
