  • - The UK plug adapter: a safe way to plug the RO system into UK-style outlets. Note that for appliances with a pump and a UV lamp, you need two UK plug adapters.
  • - The 400 GPD membrane housing: this is an RO system accessory that can hold the 400 GPD membrane for reverse osmosis systems. This membrane is intended for use in professional installations and can produce 1,500 liters of RO water per day.
  • - The 10-inch pre-filter housing for home RO systems: this is a housing that holds 10-inch pre-filters, essential for the proper operation of home RO systems.

How do you maintain RO system consumables?

As a filtration system, an RO system serves to purify tap water, particularly by removing numerous pollutants and improving its taste. Maintenance must be performed regularly, with largely the same steps regardless of the model.

- Replacing filters: this device contains various filters that need to be changed periodically. They generally need to be replaced every 6 months to 1 year to maintain their filtration performance.

- Replacing the membrane: passing through the membrane is the second stage of water filtration. This component must be replaced every 1 to 2 years, and its durability depends on water quality.

If you go on vacation for more than a week, your device needs special care. In particular, you should leave the tank faucet open to let the water run for fifteen minutes to rinse it completely. The goal is to remove traces of bacteria and ensure filtration performance. If you will be away for several months, an antiseptic is necessary.
