Test Your Water or Have It Tested
Why Test Your Water?
“ Test my water ? But I drink tap water, which is very good and is also regularly tested by specialized services… ”. Yes, that is probably what you tell yourself, reassured by the annual report that comes with your water bill and proves that everything is fine, your water is perfect. Really ?
We can only encourage you not to rely on appearances. There are many reasons to have your water analyzed, but one thing is certain : you will only really know whether the water you consume every day is of good quality - or not - after having it analyzed.
You have access to a spring or well

If you live in the countryside, you may have access to a water source near your home. Before drinking it or even using it for cooking, washing dishes, or watering your tomatoes, you must check whether this water is actually safe to drink as it is, or usable for certain purposes, possibly after filtration.
Sometimes, life in the countryside is not as healthy as you might think. Intensive farming in certain areas, which requires large amounts of pesticides and chemicals to increase yields, can affect the water around you. Once again, the only way to know whether this water is safe to drink or use is to have it tested.
You drink tap water

Like millions of people, you turn on your faucet without a second thought, since the water coming out should normally be of impeccable quality. But standards sometimes change without your being informed, and if the water you drink still meets the required criteria, it is… because those criteria have changed ! We have no intention of casting blame on tap water suppliers, but we still recommend checking from time to time whether your water is safe to drink. What if my water test results are poor ?
Historically, www.josmose.fr has been a website specializing in RO water filtration, meaning water purified by reverse osmosis with a dry residue between 10 and 50 mg/l. Over time, through specific customer requests and meetings with water filtration system manufacturers, we have diversified and now offer a complete range of water filtration systems for both individuals and professionals.
Depending on your water analysis results and your water consumption needs in terms of quantity and quality, we can recommend the technology or technologies to use, while objectively explaining their limitations and benefits. Thanks to the many tests we perform on our machines and those of our suppliers, we have also developed water analysis methods and can offer to analyze your water.
We offer three methods for this : you can choose to analyze your water yourself using a TDS tester that measures dry residue levels, or you can also test the quality of your water yourself with our test kit. You may also prefer to have your tap water analyzed by our partner laboratory, which will send you scientific, certified results on the quality of your water.
Whichever testing method you choose, having your water analyzed can reassure you that it is of good quality and that you can continue drinking it without harming your health or your family's health. Or, if your water quality results are poor, it can help you take the necessary steps to restore good-quality water. In that case, we are here to help you choose a water softener, a reverse osmosis system, or any other filtration system suited to your daily water consumption needs.
